China’s first industrial standard on slow-/controlled-release fertilizer, jointly drafted by the National Supervision and Test Center of Fertilizer Quality (Shanghai) and Shandong Kingenta Group, will go into effect on October 1.
This standard makes clear stipulations about slow-/controlled-release fertilizer: requirements, methods of testing, labeling, packaging, transportation and storage. It is suitable for all granular slow-/controlled-release fertilizers made from nitrogen, phosphate, potash or compound fertilizers, and for all fertilizers and BB fertilizers with “slow/controlled-release fertilizer” on their labels.
